The story of Kidnap is similiar to Zinda, though Zinda was a far better movie. Imran Khan who plays the character of Kabir Sharma has old scores to settle with one of the richest men in the world, Mr. Vikrant Raina. Imran Khan kidnaps Minissha Lamba who plays the character Sonia, and leads Vikrant through a treacherous terrain of cues to find his daughter. The daughter Minissha Lamba was ten years old when her parents had divorced, and is staying with her mother Vidya Malvade when she is kidnapped.
